Hi! I’m Alison. 

For years I sourced only the freshest seafood in my previous life as the Executive Chef for Striped Bass restaurant in Philadelphia and as a chef owner of several neighborhood restaurants with a focus on fresh seafood and a daily changing menu.

After a major move to land-locked Atlanta, I stepped out the chef world and into my home kitchen, cooking almost every night for family and friends. The South has a deep history and amazing culture of local seafood. While the North has lobster, the South has shrimp, I've learned different types of shrimp are unique to their geographical area. Shrimp have a terroir just like oysters, grapes, and other wild harvested food.

Because of my professional experience I knew there was amazing seafood available and it was easy to cook, but I needed to figure out how to make this easy for you.

After a lot of experimenting and finding the right docks to buy from, I'm proud to share Absolutely Shrimp - imagined for the home cook like you and me.

This limited batch of wild caught shrimp comes to you from the docks in Dulac, Louisiana. We package 6 individual 4 oz. to 5 oz. servings for you to prepare one single meal at a time quickly and easily.

Each individual serving will vary slightly in size for these are wild caught sustainable shrimp from the Gulf of Mexico. We bring in the best of what mother nature provides in-season to you.  

This hand crafted batch includes our all natural custom-made garlic butter from Georgia grass-fed cows to create a natural broth. You may want some bread on hand to sop up the butter garlic love if you're so inclined.

What all this means is you'll enjoy shrimp that acutually taste like fresh shrimp should.

Keep frozen 

Cook from frozen

Cook 1 pouch at a time

Using the tip of a sharp knife, cut a 1 inch slit through the pouch into the butter. Do not cut all the way through the pouch.

Place the pouch on a microwave safe plate or bowl. Microwave on high for 2 minutes, let the pouch rest for 1 minute, shake to distribute the juices.

Cut across top of pouch with scissors, pour out shrimp & broth.

Can I cook more than 1 pouch at a time?
For the best results we recommend cooking 1 pouch at a time.
I am serving 5 people. How can I make Absolutely Shrimp for everyone at once? 
For large parties: microwave each pouch at a time. Cut open each pouch, pour into a large dish, loosely cover with seal wrap & microwave for 30 seconds or 1 minute to warm up.
What if I'm lactose intolerant?
We have our own copyrighted process for preserving the taste while freezing the shrimp only once. In addition, the butter is a vehicle to capture the juices of the shrimp, so it makes its own juices. If you buy shrimp at a store or anywhere it is previously frozen and then you have to thaw it and when you thought you lose all the juices.
Doesn’t the microwave make food chewy?
Microwaves don’t actually cook food, they excite water molecules. Excited water molecules create energy and friction which creates heat which creates steam. Wild-caught shrimp from the ocean or gulf have a high water content which makes them the perfect food to microwave using our patent-pending process.
Do I need to thaw the pouch before I microwave?
Absolutely not! Do not defrost Absolutely Shrimp
Keep the pouch frozen. Microwave from frozen.
Can I buy Absolutely Shrimp in my local store?
At this time, we're only selling online. 
What size are the shrimp?
We only process shrimp from day-boats. Day-boats are on the water for very short stretches of time - like the name implies. Our favorite sizes are 16-20s and 21-25s; however, we pack what mother nature provides in-season. The count size may vary some depending upon the time of the season but the quality will stay consistent.
Why are Absolutely Shrimp lower in sodium than most frozen Wild Caught shrimp?
Most wild caught shrimp are frozen at sea using a salt brine. Our shrimp are from smaller day-boats that do not have freezers or salt brine tanks. The shrimp we buy are kept cold with ice and return to shore daily with their fresh catch.
